The road to mastering this precision is incredibly frustrating, however. But this momentum based platformer is dependent on precise controls, and that is exactly what the controls demand, is precision. I have seen a lot of discussion on how "bad" the controls are in this game. Do have got the S+ acheivo now, but Ascent was a pain in the rear back when I first cleared it.Note that I said annoying, and not bad. But it's all a matter of having the right push and some practice time. It's quite eazy to get overwelmed by the difficulty when you're stuck a Silver or below level, with all those videos of the "Difficults" floating around. Update 2: Quite cheesy but I must add.Of course, higher tier levels won't let you get away with that, but then again, this is a newbie guide. So, left that piece of dust behind on the wall? No need to restart, back up asap and clean it off, whack it off with an attack if needed, then move back on track. Slow and steady might be the key for SS some times, the finesse meter don't seems to bother with the time as long you don't lose your combo. On the simpliest example, most replays will use only heavy hits when facing floating critters, which is faster, but is generally safer to just light attack the cra.leaves, out of it.
